The Quebradas Fire is burning on private land east of Escondida Lake in Socorro County. The fire started around 5:00 p.m. tonight (05/20) and has possibly burned two structures. Additional structures are threatened and voluntary evacuations are in place. The fire is estimated at 15-25 acres and is 0% contained. Winds are sustained at 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph. Multiple resources are on the scene from State Forestry, federal and local firefighting agencies.
