The Quebradas Fire burning east of Escondida Lake in Socorro County is now estimated at 12 acres after GPS mapping. Structures remain threatened due to high winds gusting to more than 20 mph. Firefighters are working to extinguish pockets of burning debris along control lines, mop up hot spots and strengthen containment lines. Resources include approximately 70 personnel from multiple agencies.
