Tularosa Basin Downwinders Consortium to hold 10th Annual Candlelight Vigil to acknowledge the negative health effects suffered by the people of New Mexico after overexposure to radiation from the Trinity test, memorialize those that have lost their lives to cancer and honor those who are living with or who have survived cancer.

Members of the TBDC will hold a townhall meeting at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday July 20th at the Tularosa Community Center, 1050 Bookout Rd. to inform the public about the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) amendment bills that have been introduced  in the US House of Representatives and in the Senate.  Training on how to lobby Congress will be offered.

Tularosa Little League field on La Luz Ave. in West Tularosa. The event is a somber tribute to those who have lost their lives to cancer.  Health surveys will be available to the public.
