First FUNDIT-Small Business Finance Fair to be held in Taos on July 17

FUNDIT, a New Mexico Economic Development Department program which connects funding entities with local, community development projects, has announced it will be expanding its efforts to assist entrepreneurs and small businesses. 

On July 17, NM FUNDIT will host its first Small Business Finance Fair to help business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs connect to lenders and other business resource experts. The event is co-sponsored by the Regional Development Corporation. 

The Small Business Finance Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Taos at the El Monte Sagrado Living Resort and Spa. It is free of charge and open to the public, but registration is required.

The Small Business Finance Fair will provide an opportunity for the public to meet face-to-face with local lenders and business resource providers to discuss projects, ask questions, and request financing.
