Santa Rosa, NM – On July 14, 2019 at around 12:30 p.m., the New Mexico State Police Investigations Bureau was contacted to investigate a homicide that occurred in Guadalupe County near Santa Rosa, New Mexico.

Investigators learned at around 10:51 a.m., an injured male subject was lying on the ground on State Road 91 near Santa Rosa.

The male subject was loaded into a vehicle and taken to Guadalupe County Hospital where he later died from his injuries. The victim was identified as William Moore (32) of El Paso, Texas. New Mexico State Police Investigations Bureau agents as well as the New Mexico State Police Crime Scene Team were called.
