SOCORRO - The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office in cooperation with Mountain States Constructors, Inc. (Contractor) is excited to announce the upcoming roadway rehabilitation project on Interstate 25 from milepost 150 (Socorro North) to milepost 161 (Chamizal).

Beginning Monday, August 28, 2023, drivers can expect various daytime lane closures on both the northbound and southbound lanes as needed. Contractor’s hours of operation will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. This rehabilitation project was awarded in the amount of $11.1 million and is expected to take 180 working days to complete, weather pending.
