Entrepreneurial-Minded Veterans, Service Members, and Spouses in the Southwest
Are Invited to Attend the 2023 New Mexico Veterans Business Summit

Las Cruces—Registration is open for the 2023 New Mexico Veterans Business Summit on October 31 & November 1 in Las Cruces at the New Mexico State University Corbett Center Student Union.

Entrepreneurial-minded military veterans, National Guard/Reserve members, transitioning active-duty service members, their spouses, and federal contractors anywhere in the southwests are encouraged to attend this free two-day conference presented by the New Mexico Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC)--the business development division of the New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services.

The conference is presented in conjunction with National Veterans Small Business Week celebrating our nation’s veteran-owned businesses. Representatives from the VBOC, the U.S. Small Business Administration New Mexico District Office, the Small Business Development Centers, the New Mexico APEX Accelerator, SCORE, and WESST to present information about resources here in New Mexico to help veterans, service members, and spouses looking to open their own business, grow/expand an existing operation, or securing lucrative federal contracting opportunities.

Representatives from state agencies will have information about state licensing, training and economic development opportunities, business taxation, and much more regarding operating a business here in New Mexico.

The conference is also an excellent opportunity for networking with other veteran-owned business owners, federal, and state contractors, and representatives from the presenting agencies.

Lunch will be provided. Though the conference is free, pre-registration is required and can be done online at www.nmvboc.org , or by calling the VBOC at (505) 383-2400.
