HATCH - The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office in cooperation with Mountain States Constructors, Inc. (Contractor) are excited to announce the upcoming roadway rehabilitation project on Interstate 25 (I-25) from milepost 34(Rincon) to milepost 41(NM 26/Hatch). 

Beginning Monday, February 5, 2024, drivers can expect lane closures on both the northbound and southbound lanes of I-25 as needed. Please reduce your speed and obey traffic control devices. Roadway will be restricted to 12-foot for oversized loads.

The contractor’s hours of operation will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the possibility of some weekend work. This rehabilitation project was awarded in the amount of $5.3 million and is expected to be complete by April 2024, weather pending.
