Ronald J. Cook, 65, of Glenwood, NM passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held at the Glenwood Community Center on Friday, December 27, 2013.

Ronald was born on August 29, 1948 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan to Allen and Frances Jean Cook. He lived in Madrid, NM until 1992 then resided in Glenwood, NM. He worked for Super Salve in Mogollon, NM and was still employed there. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, and playing golf. He loved being outdoors with friends, rock hunting, and looking for earth’s treasures. During holidays, he would visit Michigan and take canoe trips. Ronald had a huge heart of gold, assisted lots of people, never caused tension with anyone, and kept things to himself. He loved his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Allen Cook. He is survived by his mother Frances Jean Cook of Mesick, Michigan, Brothers Gary (Cheri) Cook of Paris, Michigan and Mike (Cindy) Cook of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, Sisters Linda Cook of Mesick, Michigan and Patty (Jim) Swanson of Traverse City, Michigan, Sons Joe (Becky) Cook, Jon Cook, Jeremy (Sara) Cook, and granddaughters Kristina and Brandi Cook.
