Francisco Aguilar Pioquinto II, 72, a resident of Deming, New Mexico entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 1 o'clock in the afternoon at the Power of Praise Fellowship Church with a funeral service to follow at 2 o'clock with Pastor Richard Gomez, officiating. Cremation will follow at Baca's Mimbres Crematory with interment of cremains at Mountain View Cemetery at a later date.

Francisco was born on October 7, 1941 in Deming, NM to Francisco Z. Pioquinto and Maria Refugia Aguilar. He was very outgoing, enjoyed fishing and camping.

He is survived by his companion, Ruth Pioquinto; children, Delia Cummings and husband Calvin Jr., Sandra Jean Pioquinto, Francisco Pioquinto III and Corina Tovar and husband Michael; three sisters, Cecilia Lopez, Margarita Pioquinto and Elisa P. Rudloff and her husband Mike; his mother in law Margarita Montellano; many nieces and nephews and by eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his maternal grandmother Marcelina M. Aguilar; one sister, Bernie Almanza; one brother Benny Pioquinto and his father in law, Florencio Montellano.

Serving as pallbearers will be Fernando 'Fernie' Grado, Adam Grado, Ejay Grado, John Paul Pioquinto, Edward P. Almanza and Theodore 'Teddy' Almanza. Honorary pallbearers will be Zanon Jaime, Benny Saiz, Sunny Reyes, David Valverde, Coronelio 'Nello' Madrid and Joe Saenz.
