Billie Sue Lindsay, 76, Deming resident passed away Friday May 2, 2014 at her daughter's home in Deming.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Billie's life will be Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the family home of Mary Lou Clark from 10:00 am until 12 noon. Per her request cremation will take place at Baca's Mimbres Crematory.

Billie was born August 14, 1937 in San Angelo, Texas to Julia May Bellamy and John Henry Fleenor. She worked in collections and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include 2 sons, Danny Lindsay and Gary Moore both of Deming; 2 daughters, Mary Lou Clark of Deming and Diane Doss of El Paso, Texas; a brother, Charles Deam of Texas; 11 grandchildren, Brittany, Hunter, Spencer, Shannon, Jaymie, James, Randy, Trenton, Carla, Katelynn and Justin and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Julia Fleeno;, her husband, Jim Lindsay who died last year; daughter, Angie Lindsay; 8 siblings and a grandson, Dallas Gray.
