Marilyn J. Foraker, 80, a resident of Lordsburg, NM entered eternal rest Monday, June 2, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born February 25, 1934 in Chicago, IL to John Cooney and Edna Soehrman. She was an Educator in Lordsburg from 76-99 at Lordsburg High School. She is survived by two sons, Charles Foraker of Lordsburg; John Foraker and wife Sarah of Las Cruces; one daughter, Mary Karpiak and husband Robert of Georgia; two granddaughters, Caroline and Lauren Karpiak. She was preceded in death by her husband, Creighton Foraker ('70) and her parents. No service will be held at family request. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
