Ernesto G. Triviso Sr., 92, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at his residence surround by his family. He was born November 17, 1921 in Silver City to Aniceto Mendoza Triviso and Virginia Garcia.

He proudly served his country with the US Army from '42-'46. His Rank at Discharge was CPL. He was a '83 retiree Crane Operator for Kennecott Copper Mines. He later worked for 17yrs at St. Vincent Catholic Church as their Handyman.

He is survived by his loving wife of 72yrs., Feliciana Benavides Triviso of the family home; three sons, Jimmy B. Triviso (JoAnn) of Albuquerque; Bobby Triviso of Silver City; David Triviso (Lucy) of Silver City; five daughters, Frances T. Silva of Las Cruces; Linda Leyba (David) of Las Vegas, NV; Susie Valencia (Rudy) of Silver City; Millie Moyer (Steve) of Silver City; Jenny Crist (Mike) of Silver City; twenty grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Ernie Triviso Jr.; two grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 8 from 6-7pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the prayer vigil and holy rosary to begin 7pm with Carmen Terrazas reciting. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated Monday, June 9 at 9:30am at St. Vincent Catholic Church with Father Rod Nichols officiating. Concluding service interment will follow at Fort Bayard National Cemetery with full military honors. Pallbearers will be Danny Silva, Carlos Triviso, Gerald Moyer, Joseph Silva, Jimmy Paul Triviso, Ricky Altamirano, Aaron Valencia and Frankie Altamirano.
