Lupe Peña Dominguez, a former resident of San Lorenzo, entered eternal rest at Fort Bayard Medical Center on June 4, 2014.

Lupita was born on December 11, 1919 in San Lorenzo to Desiderio N. and Andrea (Roybal) Peña. She was a communicant of the Catholic Church. She was a wonderful homemaker, always making sure her family and friends were never without a plate of "goodies" to acknowledge her appreciation for their love and friendship. Her sense of humor was a beautiful trademark of her character and she never seemed to have a bad day.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry P. Dominguez, of Alhambra CA, Reuben P. Dominguez of San Lorenzo; daughter, Lorraine Holguin and husband Richard of San Lorenzo; grandchildren, Jimmy McDonald and wife Ofelia of Victoria TX, Michele McDonald of Silver City; sister, Clorinda P. Montoya and husband Richard of Los Angeles CA and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Prudencio B. Dominguez; infant children Herman P. Dominguez and Esther P. Dominguez, and son-in-law Eddie J. McDonald.

The Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock in the evening, Friday, June 6 2014 at Baca's Funeral Chapels led by Deacon Richard Rodriguez. Cremation will take place under the direction of Baca's Silver Crematory and inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family, requests that donations are made in Lupita's honor to the National Shrine of St. Jude, 205 W. Monroe St, Chicago IL, 60606 or Infant Jesus Shrine, PO Box 97, Hurley NM, 88043.
