Nathan Scott Torres, 31, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Thursday, July 3, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born March 23, 1983 in Silver City, NM to Jose Luis Torres and Naomi Gonzales. He was employed as a Phlebotomist with Gila Regional Medical Center.

He is survived by his parents, Jose Luis Torres and wife Barbara; Naomi Jacquez and husband Eric; brothers, Adrian and Charlene Torres; Joe and Tricia Torres; Kyle Torres; Jordan Torres; Isaac and Jason Castillo; Andrew Meza; sisters, Vanessa Torres; Jasmin Castillo and Breanna Meza; maternal grandparents, Sylvia Wilson; Joe Gonzales Sr. and Rudy and Linda Jacquez; maternal great grandmother, Esperanza Perez; paternal grandparents, Jose and Elva Torres; paternal great-grandmother, Rosa Flores; three uncles, Joseph Gonzales Jr., and companion Melissa Kelly; Eric and Rebecca Gonzales, Hector and Isela Villegas, Mauricio Torres; two aunts, Marisol Torres and companion Gabriel Rodriguez and Leslie Villegas; Godparents, Alfred and Veronica Perez; Ruben and Gloria Jaime; three God-children, Demitry Torres, Deryk Torres and Dennis Saavedra; a special friend, Ernie Jaramillo; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved great-great grandmother, Juanita Juarez, Jesus Flores, Jesus and Maria Jimenez.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, July 9 at 1 pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Alfred Perez officiating. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
