Michael W. Cuff, 71, a resident of Gila, NM entered eternal rest Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born March 12, 1943 in Panama Canal Zone to William and Kathryn (Greenman) Cuff. Mike proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Blockade. He was a substitute teacher at the Cliff Schools. He was a private pilot and loved to fly. Mike enjoyed the outdoors, sailing, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Farm Bureau. Mike was also a member of the Gila Valley EMS and Volunteer Fire Department.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Rita Larson; three children; one sister; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated Saturday, August 23, at 11am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Pastor Floyd Robertson officiating. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
