Aleja S. Trujillo, known by friends as Mrs. T. went to meet her savior on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Gila Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family and close friends.

Visitation will be Monday September 15, 2014 from 9:00 to 10:30 at Baca's Funeral Chapels. The Holy Rosary will be recited Monday, September 15, 2014 at 11:00 in the morning at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 in the morning.

Concluding services and interment will follow at Ft. Bayard National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband of 30 years Isaac L. Trujillo Sr. Father Robret Barreto oficiating.

Aleja was born on July 17, 1921 in La Parilla, Durango Mexico to Isaac and Maria (Zavala) Sanchez. She came to the United States in 1947. In 1954 she married her husband of 30 years Isaac L. Trujillo Sr. She was a nanny for many years. She enjoyed singing, dancing, traveling, cooking and most of all children. Her pass-time was sitting at Wal-Mart and greeting everyone as they walk in and out. She was also a volunteer grandma at Bayard elementary in 1996, a cursillista and a Guadalupana. In 1993 she went to visit her son Gilbert in Japan. On her visit to Japan, she and her son Gilbert entered a dance competition which included many cultures, entering the Mexican Hat Dance as of her heritage culture and was won by both.

She is survived by two sons, Isaac L. Trujillo Jr., and Gilbert (Mary) Trujillo, one daughter Irma Trujillo and one grandson Ronnie Martinez Jr. who was the light of her life. And numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by parents, her loving husband of 30 years Isaac L. Trujillo Sr., a brother Jesus Sanchez, granddaughter Laura Nicole Esparza, and numerous brothers and sisters.
Serving as Pallbearers are; Gilbert and Isaac Trujillo, Ronnie Martinez Jr., David A. Gonzales, Ronnie Marquez and Eloy Medina Sr.
