Barbara Lucille Kellogg, 72, Deming resident passed away Saturday September 13, 2014 at her home.

A Memorial Service will be Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 3 o'clock at Baca's Funeral Chapel with Larry Lynch officiating.

Barbara was born March 19, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to Lucille (Gordon) and John Bock. She has been a Deming resident since 1987 coming from Northern Illinois. She was the Director of Quality Central in Pharmaceutical and later, she and her husband owned and operated the Deming Motel for ten years. She was a founding member of Smokin Oldies Car Club of Deming and present member of Christian Rod & Customs of Las Cruces.

Survivors include her husband, Benjamin of the home; 4 children, David Kellogg and wife Kimberly of Loveland, Colorado, Donald Kellogg and wife Susan of Grayslake, Illinois, John Bock of Tucson, Arizona and Joan Travillion of Antioch, Illinois; a brother, John Bock of Tucson; a sister, Joan Travillion of Antioch; 4 grandchildren, John, Brittany, Austin, Shelby and 2 great-grandchildren, Deja and Jaylan and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucille Bock; her aunt, Alice Schwer and niece, Jessie Fruehe.
