Dugie02John E. Dugie, 75, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Thursday, September 11, 2014 at his residence. He was born November 22, 1938 in Bisbee, AZ to Timothy and Pauline (Pokluda) Dugie. Mr. Dugie proudly served his country as an MP in the U. S. Army. He is survived by Darold Dugie and his wife Tracy of Albuquerque; Paul Dugie and his wife Carla of Las Cruces; Jackie De La Cruz and her husband Eric of San Antonio, TX ; and John E. Dugie II of Albuquerque; six grandchildren, Katrina Selberg and her husband Chris; Brandon Cameron and his wife Crystal; Jessika Gomez and her husband Daniel; Kaitlyn Dugie, Tyler Dugie and Anthony De La Cruz; seven great-grandchildren, Abriana, McKenna, Bianka, Madison, Ayden, Dan Jr., and Jordan; three brothers, Francis Dugie and his wife Betty of Mesa, AZ; Patrick Dugie and his wife Mary Jane of Bisbee, AZ; David Dugie and Bernice Taylor of Bisbee, AZ; two sisters, Mary Suchy and her husband Roman of Vining, MN; Donna Palmer and her husband Tom of Silver City; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Timothy Dugie Jr., two sisters, Valeria Brown and Helen Koski. Visitation will be Monday, September 22 from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary to begin at 6pm with Deacon Jerry Miller reciting. The funeral liturgy with full military honors will be celebrated Tuesday, September 23 at 10:30am at St. Francis Newman Center with Father Anthony "Tony" Basso officiating.
