Della P. Burk, 91, passed away at Willow Manor in Deming, New Mexico on Sunday, September 21, 2014.

A graveside service will held at Fort Bayard National Cemetery, Fort Bayard, New Mexico on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at one o'clock in the afternoon. LeRoy Lacy, Pastor of The First Baptist Church of Animas, will be officiating the service. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca's Mimbres Crematory.

Della was on born February 25, 1923 to Albert and Violet Frutiger in Greeley, Nebraska. She had been living in Silver City before she came to Deming in 2003 to be closer to family. She was also a lifetime member of the Business of Professional Women. Della loved fishing with her husband John, she also enjoyed working with arts and crafts. In her earlier years she loved to sing and yodel.

She is survived by daughters, Bonnie and husband Joe Brown of Deming and Vicki J. Burk of Animas; brother, Warren Frutiger of Wilsonville Oregon; grandchildren Bill(Rosa) Brown of Fairfield, Texas, Cheryl (Frank) Rouse of Colton, Oregon, Don (Julia)Kendall of Silverdale Washington, Trinity(Marcella) Gore, of El Paso, Texas, Tipton Gore of Marana, Arizona, Cody(Cimmaron) Bulgier of Odessa ,Texas, and thirteen great-grandchilden;, one great-great- granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her parents: daughter, Dianna T. Dobbs; brother, Lee G. Frutiger and sister, Josephine Estes.
