She was born July 21, 1968 in Arlington, VA to Larry and Linda Lyle Flippo. She worked as a Radiology/Mammography Technician for Gila Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Peterson of Silver City; her parents, Larry and Linda Flippo of Silver City; one son, Donovan Flippo of Silver City; one daughter, Devon Flippo of Silver City; one brother, Chad Flippo (Melinda) of Kernersville, NC; one sister, Mandy Flippo of Silver City; nieces, Sierra, Gypsy, Teila, Mercedise, Annaya and Tasia; nephews, Nico and Thomas.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date for close family and friends. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
