William Brown Walker, 71, Hurley resident passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Gila Regional Medical Center.

No services are planned at this time and cremation has been entrusted to Baca's Silver City Crematory.

"Bill", as he was affectionately known, was born May 23, 1943 in Livingston, Montana to Fred and Virginia (Brown) Walker. He graduated from Cobre High School and attended Western New Mexico University earning a bachelor's degree in education.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and his wife.
