Kenneth Leroy Morton, 69, a resident of Lordsburg passed away Monday October 6, 2014.

A memorial service will be Saturday October 11, 2014 at 4:30 in the afternoon at the Hidalgo County Fair Grounds Show Ring with Ed "Bim" Kerr officiating. Cremation has taken place at Baca's Mimbres Crematory.

Kenneth was born September 3, 1945 in Denver, Colorado to Elzie and Gladys (Tilton) Morton. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy and most recently was involved in farming and ranching in Hidalgo County.

He is survived by his children, Nathan Elsworth (Angie), Anna Elsworth (Carl) all of Rifle, Colorado; his brothers, Donald Morton (Judy) of Thornton, Colorado, Marvin Morton of Buffalo, New York; his sister, Marilyn White (Robert) of Lakewood, Colorado; and 2 grandchildren Riley and Colton.
