Paul E. Stager, 77, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at home with family.

A memorial service will be held in the summer of 2015. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca's Mimbres Crematory.

Paul was born in Fredericksburg, Maryland to Guy and Ada Stager on June 8, 1937. In his early years he served in the US Navy from 1955-59. He lived in Reno, Nevada where he worked as a cable engineer from 1965-95 and also a small business owner. Moving to Deming eleven years ago, he became owner of the Roadrunner RV Park in 2003 and was assisted by his loving daughter in the last couple of years. Paul was an active member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting. Paul was an amazing father and grandfather; a friend and role model to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by 2 sons, William (Krista) Stager; Ken (Mari) Stager, all of Washington, daughter, Elizabeth (Cory) Arp, Deming; 3 sisters, Ann Bramlet, Bonnie Schwemm and Agnes Curtis; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and fiancé Althea Bearer.
