Earl R. Carson, 89, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Gila Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 27, 1925 in Clearfield, PA to Lester and Francis Carson. He proudly served his country during WWII with the U.S. Army. He was a member of American Bowling Congress. He enjoyed playing golf.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lois of the family home; two sons, Wayne Carson (Catherine) of Maryland, Baltimore; Scott Carson (Sharon) of Clarksburg, TN; step-son, Eric B. Gadberry (Vicki) of Silver City; four grandchildren and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place at Terrazas Crematory. Inurnment will be held Wednesday, October 29 at 1 pm at Fort Bayard National Cemetery will full military honors. Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels and Crematory.
