Margaret F. Caballero, 87, of Silver City, NM passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 at her residence.

A Visitation will be held at Bright Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 5:00pm a Rosary will be recited beginning at 6:00pm with Deacon Jerry Bustillos. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church at 9:30pm. Interment will follow at Fort Bayard National Cemetery.

Margaret was born in Dwyer, New Mexico and her parents were Guadalupe Fernandez and Josephine B. Burnett.

She is survived by one daughter Josephine M. Caballero of Silver City, New Mexico, one son John Charles Caballero of Sierra Vista, Arizona, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren, one sister Lena Valdez of Clifton, Az., and one brother Stevie Fernandez of Safford, Az.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Caballero, one sister Lucy Vozza, 2 brothers Guadalupe and Raymond Fernandez.

Margaret enjoyed her time with her grandchildren, liked to gamble, dancing and spending time with her family.

Pallbearers will be Robert Vozza, Robert Torrez, Charlie Torrez, Tony Valdez, Ruben Valdez and Gilbert Gomez. Honorary Pallbearers are Eric R. Membrila, Ben Ybarra, John G. Ybarra, and Michael Fernandez.
