Reynaldo P. Sedillos, 60, a resident of Santa Clara, NM entered eternal rest on Friday, November 7, 2014 at his residence. He passed to the other side with his loving wife Linda and friend Dora at his side.

He was born January 5, 1954 to Ricardo and Celia Sedillos. On January 7, 1973, Ray married the love of his life, Linda Quintana Sedillos. They had three daughters Jocelyn (Preciosa), Amanda (Baby) and Renee (Nalgitas de Nonejo). Ray touched many lives during his time with us. He gave 25 years of service to Kennecott/Phelps Dodge. He also took great pride as a Little League umpire for 34 years and gained the love and respect of many. He was a member of Knights of Columbus as a 4th Degree Knight and Lulac Council. Ray was President of the Cobre Booster Club; he also volunteered his time as an Auxillarian at Gila Regional Medical Center and Santa Clara Fire Department. He took great joy in working as custodian for Cobre High School. Ray loved to fish, hunt and spend quality time with his family.

Ray is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Linda; his daughters, Jocelyn Bejarano (Ralph) of Alco, NV; Amanda Uresti (Joe) of Santa Clara; Renee Cooper (Chris) of West Point, NY. His twelve grandchildren are the apple of his eye. They are Jacob, Briana, Joseph, RJ, Anissa, Ryan, Joseph Jr., Isabela, Sonya, Isiah, Jahred, Alyssa and Nicholas; two great-grandchildren, Monrow and Zaelyn; two brothers, Henry Sedillos of Arenas Valley and Michael Sedillos (Molly) of Silver City; one sister, Dolores Dees of North Hurley. He was preceded in death by his parents, his second mother, Marianna Quintana; his brother, Rudy Sedillos; his sisters, Lupita Peña and Ruby Chavez. This is not a goodbye; it is see you when we join you on the other side.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 12 from 5-6:30pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the prayer vigil and holy rosary to begin at 6:30pm. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, November 13 at 10am at Santa Clara Catholic Church with Father Robert Becerra officiating. Concluding service interment will follow at Santa Clara cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob, Joseph and RJ Bejarano, Ryan Sedillos, Isiah Uresti, Frankie Costales and Victor Holguin. Honorary pallbearers will be Alyssa Cooper, Joseph Aiden Uresti Jr., Nicholas Cooper, Anissa Bejarano, Jahred Cooper, Sonya and Isabella Uresti.
