Daurice Edwards, 64, a longtime resident of Deming, passed away Friday November 7, 2014 at his home.

Visitation will be this Saturday November 15, 2014 beginning at 12 noon at Baca's Funeral Chapel where funeral services will begin at 2 o'clock with Reverend Reggie Price officiating. Concluding services and interment with honors will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.

Daurice was born June 9, 1950 in El Paso, Texas to Dudley Roberts Edwards Sr. and Juanita Tyler Edwards. After graduating from Deming High School in 1969 he entered the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Upon his return Daurice worked in construction and always enjoyed playing pool and socializing with his friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Juanita Clark and Anayai Cooper of Muskogee, OK, Frances Campos of Roswell, NM; his twin brother, Maurice Edwards of Albuquerque, NM; his sister Betty Brown of Deming; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Daurice was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Dudley Roberts Edwards Jr.
