Engracia Cordova, 81, a resident of Santa Clara, NM entered eternal rest Thursday, November 13, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born April 15, 1933 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Nicolas and Rafaela Hernandez Rodriguez.

She is survived by eight sons, Guadalupe R. Cordova Jr. (Leticia) of El Paso; Librado R. Cordova of Santa Clara; Albert R. Cordova (Betty) of Silver City; Smiley R. Cordova of Arenas Valley; Rafael R. Cordova (Connie) of Santa Clara; David R. Cordova of Santa Clara; Jose R. Cordova of Santa Clara and Javier R. Cordova (Cindy) of Greenby, WI; four daughters, Maria Inez Marquez and companion Albert of Las Cruces; Concepcion Ruiz (Jose) of Arenas Valley; Sarah McWilliams (Richard) of Sunsites, AR; Erlinda Serrano (Jose) of El Paso, TX; twenty-eight grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; special granddaughter, E. Angelina Garcia; special grandson, Roman Cordova Marquez III; two brothers, Arturo H. Rodriguez of Juarez, Mexico; Guillermo H. Rodriguez (Micaela) of Monclova, Mexico; one sister, Esperanza Rodriguez of Monclova, Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her husband Guadalupe Cordova ('91) and her parents.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 18 from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the prayer vigil and holy rosary to begin at 6pm with Deacon Bill Holguin reciting. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 19 at 9:30am at Santa Clara Catholic Church with Father Robert Becerra officiating. Cremation will follow concluding services. Pallbearers will be Ramon Marquez III, Christopher Cordova, Angel Ruiz, Freddie Cordova, Salvador Ray Cordova, Pete Evans Jr., John Carl and Smilee Cordova. Honorary pallbearer will be Nicolas Gonzales.
