Alice J. Allbee, 98, resident of Deming passed away Sunday November 23, 2014 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital.

Cremation will take place at Baca's Mimbres Crematory and no services will be held.

Alice was born September 1, 1916 in DeWitt, Iowa to Blaine and Anna (Schunter) Bird. She was a Registered Nurse in Davenport, Iowa and upon retirement she and her husband came to the Southwest in the mid 1990's. She enjoyed sewing, reading and doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne A. Hosch (Harmon) of Cloudcroft, NM, Sharon Saronson of Middlebury, Vermont; son, David Allbee of Hawaii; sister, Lois Schunter of California; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Allbee and by her brother, Fred Bird.
