Cruz Leon Bustillos, 86, a Silver City resident, entered eternal rest with our Lord Friday, December 19, 2014. He was surrounded by his loving family.

The Holy Rosary will be recited at 1:30 in the afternoon Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Baca's Funeral Chapels. The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 3 O'clock at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Concluding services and interment will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.

He was born August 11, 1928 in Santa Rita to Cruz and Virginia (Leon) Bustillos. He was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife Maria Bustillos, her son Cruz and wife Clara (Roybal) Bustillos, Three grandchildren Bernadette and husband Thomas Nanez, great-granddaughter Kiara, Cruz Bustillos Jr. and great-grandchildren Damian and Andrea Zamudio, Graciela and Lelia Bustillos, Andres Bustillos and wife Samantha, great-grandchildren Aryanna and Brayden. He is also survived by his sisters Antonia and Virginia Chacon, Guadalupe Morales and Rosalina Stanton along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Cruz and Virginia Leon Bustillos, his daughter Graciela and 7 sisters.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cruz Jr. and Andres Bustillos, Joe Morales, Eddie Vallejo, Thomas Nanez and Steve Lucero
