Saul B. Perez passed peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Fort Bayard Medical Center, where he resided for eight years. He was born September 17, 1933, in Hachita, New Mexico to Albert and Genevieve Perez. He worked at T&M Dairy in Hanover, Santa Rita Company Store and retired from Kennecott Copper Corporation.

Most of his life revolved around his family and work. His favorite pastime was his music and dancing. He will be greatly missed and honored in memory by his surviving relatives.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Martina S. Perez; his sons, Sam Perez, Henry Perez (Peggy), Johnny Perez (Sylvia); his daughters, Rachel Placencio (Louie), Dora Gonzales (Robert); grandchildren, Christopher, Cynthia, Louie Jr., Genevieve, Bobby, Rudy, Janet, Leiann, Carlos, Johnny Jr., Alicia and Jarrod; great-grandchildren, Kevin, Jesse, Desiree', LisaRaye, Louie III, Julianna, Kasen, Leiloni, Tyra, Uriah, Kamdon, Inez, Christopher, Keriston, Ellen, Isabella, Carlos Jr., and AjaNaeh; great-great grandchildren, Isabella, Esmia and Marquis; his brothers, Roberto Perez (Rita) and Albert Jr.; his sisters, Velia Soto (Tony), Gloria Sedillos (Mark) and Ernestina Atencio; Goddaughters, Jane Martinez, Ana Arellano and Sylvia Sierra; God-sons, David Amador, Danny Sifuentes and Ruben Portillo; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Arturo Perez; his sisters, Emma Armendariz and Millie Garcia.

The Holy Rosary will be held Wednesday, January 28 at 6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Deacon Bill Holguin reciting. A Graveside service will be held Thursday, January 24 at 11am at Hanover Cemetery.
