Ricardo S. Dees Sr. 36 a Hurley resident entered into heaven Saturday, February 14, 2015 in North Hurley surrounded by his loving family.

The Holy Rosary will be recited at 10 o'clock in the morning Friday, February 20, 2015 at Infant Jesus Shrine. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 in the morning. Concluding services and inurnment will follow at Hurley Cemetery, Father Roberto Barreto officiating.

Ricardo was born August 14, 1978 in Silver City to Dolores Padilla Sedillos and Jerry Dees. He was raised in North Hurley by his mother and grandparents. He enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with his family, watching his son play football and spending time with his precious daughter, he also loved watching the Dallas Cowboys play. He married the love of his life Saraluz Mendoza Medina May 1, 1999 at Infant Jesus Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Saraluz Dees from North Hurley, his son Ricardo Antonio (RJ) Dees Jr., his daughter Mikayla Ramona Dees both from North Hurley, his beloved mother Dolores S. Dees and his father Jerry Dees. His Nino Henry Pena and Nina Linda Sedillos, Uncles Henry and Mike Sedillos (Molly), numerous paternal aunts and uncles, also surviving Ricardo are numerous cousins. He was very fond of his cousins Vangie and Mike Montoya, Louisa and Javier Sanchez and family, Darlene Saborio and his Tia Beda Saborio and Manny Saborio.

He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents; Ricardo G. Sedillos October 27, 2002, and Celia P. Sedillos December 25, 2010, Uncle Rudy P. Sedillos July 5, 1986, Nino Ray P. Sedillos November 7, 2014, aunt and Nina Lupita S. Pena December 5, 2007, aunt Ruby S. Chavez May 10, 2008, his special Tia Josie G. Padilla November 7, 2011.

Serving as a pallbearer is his son Ricardo Antonio (RJ) Dees Jr.
