Letha Lucille Cearley was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 22, 2015.

Lucille was born July 13, 1933 in Bristow, Oklahoma. She married the love of her life Gene on October 1, 1950 in Huntsville, Arkansas. She resided in Owasso, Oklahoma with her husband Gene until moving to Gila, NM in August of 2014. Lucille had a tender and giving spirit and loved her large family and family gatherings. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano and being involved in the church. She was self taught in playing the piano, bass fiddle and accordion, and played in church.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Eugene "Gene" Cearley; her children Ron (Vee) Cearley of Kellyville, OK; Dan (Carolyn) Cearley of Gila; Connie Denise (Speedy) Gonzales also of Gila, NM; brothers, Elzy Gower of Sapulpa, OK and Lonnie Gower of Bristow, OK; sisters, Elvis (Richard) Goodman of Sapulpa, OK, Ruth Rebstock of Sapulpa and June (Tommy) Ashley of Farmington, NM; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister Nora Saiz, her parents, Lillian and Alvin Gower and granddaughter Misty Jean Gonzales.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated Wednesday, February 25, at 2pm at Gila Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Tar Henderson officiating. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
