Angie Villegas, 90, a longtime Deming resident, passed away Tuesday February 24, 2015 in Deming.

Visitation will be Thursday afternoon from 3 until 5 at Baca's Funeral Chapel with the prayer vigil that evening at 7 at Saint Ann's Catholic Church. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Ann's Catholic Church on Friday morning at 10 o'clock with Fr. Ronald Machado, officiating. The rite of committal and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Angie was born September 18, 1924 to Maria Rico and Francisco Frias in Deming. She enjoyed the outdoors, loved to dance and sing. She was employed for many years at City Drug Store and was a communicant at Saint Ann's Catholic Church.

She is survived by son, Julian Villegas and wife Gloria of Summerville, SC; daughter, Isabelle Carbajal and husband Mario of Deming; grandchildren, Patrick (Annabelle), Mario (Buffy) & David (Kathy) Carbajal, Patrick (Kelley) & Sheila (Marvin) Villegas; great-grandchildren, Jose Luis, Tito, Kassandra, Kellen, Kye, Anyssa, Noah, Morgan, Alex, Shawn, Sammy & AJ; great-great-grandchildren, Alexa, Gissele, Brianna & Damian.

She was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Antonio & Francisco Frias; sister, Margarita Hernandez and husband, Antonio Villegas.
