Manuela Lerma died on Tuesday, March 03, 2015 at Silver City Care Center.

She was born June 4, 1932 in Tyrone, NM and lived in Silver City her whole life. She loved dogs and going to church to light her candles. She also loved giving Irene Brewer love and lots of spankings keeping Irene in check. Manuela was a loving grandmother and had lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren that she loved dearly.

She is survived by daughters, Susie Chacon and husband Steve of Silver City; Connie Doporto and husband Concepcion of Carlsbad, NM; Mary Lerma and husband Ronny of Florida; Carmen McKee and Mike of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alicia Garcia; her brother, Veto Garcia; two sisters, Amalia Valenzuela and Chole Garcia; her loving beautiful daughter that took excellent care of her Sylvia Lerma Brewer; her loving husband, Henry D. Lerma.

Graveside Services will be held at a later date as per her request. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory. Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels and Crematory.
