William Carl Nolan "Bill", 93, a resident of Silver City entered eternal rest Friday, March 6, 2015 at Gila Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be held at nine o'clock in the morning Friday, March 13, 2014 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A Funeral Service will follow at nine-thirty with Bishop Brent Hanson officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Fort Bayard National Cemetery with full military honors. After the services, lunch will be provided at the Church.

William was born January 28, 1922 in Las Vegas, NM to Carl and Helen (Fowler) Nolan. He spent most of his life in the United States Air Force and in the field of Education. He was an instructor and a Bombardier Navigator on a B-25 bomber and taught college in the Social Science Department at Southern State University in Magnolia Arkansas for 25 years. After he retired, he and his soul mate Naoma Nolan his wife of 73 years moved to Silver City where they lived together in their own home for the past 28 years. He will be remembered by the love he had for his family and the master of making "milkshakes"! He was the most caring, loving person to anyone he met. His faith and wisdom is admired by those who knew him, He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.

William is survived by his wife, Naoma Nolan, twin daughters Brenda and her husband Rod Larson and Linda and her husband Tony Marchan and a son Patrick Nolan. He is also survived by his brothers and sister-in-law David and Ralph Reynolds, Roger and Beth Cluff and numerous nieces and nephews. He is survived by his grandchildren, Melinda Pepper, Jennifer and Ramon Arroyo, Angie and Ronnie Duval, Wendy and Matt Beck, Gayle and Donald Suiter, Rena Suiter, Kristie and Jared Larson, Lynsey and Chad Cox, Kindy and Tyrell Larson, Lee Larson, Terri and Marty Marchan, Todd Marchan and Eathan Settle. Also surviving him are 24 grandchildren; Mackenzie, Shyenne, Cody, Montanna, Clay, Brendon, Kai, Destiny, Kamdin, Ayden, Jacob, Kaitlynn, Alexis, Dallin, Raiden, Alivia, Raileigh, Landen, Alexander, AnnMarie, Teeana, Auwnjanaye, Timothy, Kaliyah and Kalom.

He is preceded in death by his parents Carl Peter Nolan and Helen Ross Pfaffle, a sister Marie Allen and a brother Richard Nolan.

Serving as pallbearers are Tyrell Larson, Ronnie Duval, Ramon Arroyo, Jared Larson, Marty Marchan, Lee Larson and Matt Beck. Honorary Pallbearers are Rodney Larson, Cody Duval, Clay Pepper, and Kai Arroyo.
