Cecilia Milo Pedraza, 76, of Deming passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

A prayer vigil will be Thursday evening at 7 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Patricia Alarcon leading the vigil service. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday morning at 10 at St. Ann Catholic Church with Fr. Manuel Ibarra, Pastor officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.

Cecilia was born February 11, 1939 to Gonzalo Milo Sr. and Maria Falcon. She married her sweetheart on March 5, 1955, Tony R. Pedraza. She retired after 25 years with the Deming Public Schools where she began as a bus aide at Lewis Flats and was an Instructional Assistant at the time of her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Ann Catholic Church and was a member of the Sacred Heart. She was an extraordinary, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and sister to all. She was known to many as the "Sugar Shack Lady" and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Tony R. Pedraza; daughters, Barbara Pedraza, Amelia Montellano (Paul), Gloria Sanchez, Teresa Sanchez (Gerald), and Alma Holguin; son, Tony Pedraza Jr. (Ofelia); 22 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by brothers, Manuel Milo (Elena), Henry Milo (Rosa), Gonzalo Milo Jr., Joe Milo Sr. (Tina); sisters, Irene Bustamante (Valentine), and Angelica Garcia of Temple, TX.

Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers Jesus, Luis, and Robert Milo; sisters Helen Delgado and Rosa Torres, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Paul Montellano, Gerald Sanchez, Isaac Montellano, Sergio Sanchez, Xavior Pedraza, Adrian Sanchez, Patrick Uzueta and Daniel Munoz.
