Sadberry SamSAM SADBERRY JR., 80, Deming resident passed away Thursday March 19, 2015 at his home.

A Memorial service will take place Wednesday morning March 25, 2015 at 10 o'clock at Baca's Funeral Chapel with Darrell L. Witmer, Pastor of the First Christian Church officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Sam was born September 2, 1934 in Cement, Oklahoma to Faye West and Samuel Albert Sadberry. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam War. Sam worked as a truck driver and had been a Deming resident for 9 years coming from Flagstaff, Arizona. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Silver City and enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Joy of the home; 2 sons, Mitch Sadberry of Morenci, Arizona, Michael Sadberry of Deming; daughter, Brenda Vinson and husband, William of Buckeye, Arizona; 3 brothers, Hugh and Jack Sadberry of Phoenix, Arizona, Dwane Sadberry of Gallup, NM; 2 sisters, Jane Ann Findley of Phoenix, Linda Lee of Albuquerque and 2 grandchildren, Broc and Austin Drapeau.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Faye Sadberry and a brother, David.
