Burnard MilliganBurnard E. Milligan, 72, of Reserve, NM, passed away at home on March 23, 2015, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.

A Celebration of Burnard's life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Catron County Fair Building in Reserve, NM.

Burnard was born in Morenci, AZ, on June 3, 1942. Burnard was raised in Apache Creek, NM on the family ranch and made his home in Reserve, NM where he and his wife raised their family. He lived his life as a rancher, heavy equipment operator, and service station owner. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking care of his cows, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lena Armstrong Milligan, his step mother, Helen Milligan, his children Carolyn(Carl) Livingston, Yvonne Milligan, Tommy(Lan) Milligan, Ron(Jennifer) Milligan and 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Verna(Frank) French and Carolyn(Mike) Naylor.

He is preceded in death by his father T.W. Milligan, mother Opal Hahn, and grandson Dustin.
