Joe ArellanoJoseph F. Arellano (70) passed away on March, 26, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 5 O'clock in the evening at Baca's Funeral Chapels. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 6 O'clock. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 10 O'clock in the morning at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Concluding services and interment will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.

Mr. Arellano was born in Santa Rita January 26, 1945. He is the son of the late Jose and Evelyn (Fisher) Arellano. Mr. Arellano was actively involved serving his community in several capacities such as: a formal little league president, union president of the steel workers local 8806, union AFSME representative, county commissioner, and a deacon of St. Vincent's Catholic Church. Mr. Arellano was also an avid outdoorsman. He really enjoyed going fishing and hunting with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Rita Arellano and sons and their wives Adam & Robin Arellano, Gabriel Arellano & Yvonne Baca, and Joey & Marcela Arellano. He also is survived by his grandchildren: Analicia Arellano, Rita Arellano, Andrea "Cathy" Arellano, Adam E. J. Arellano, Elizabeth Herrera, Michael Herrera, Richard Herrera, Alexandria Gomez, Cassandra Martinez, Derek Gannaway, Bobby Gannaway, Christopher Gannaway, Maria Luisa Arellano, Matthew Arellano, Joseph Arellano III; Great-grandkids; Amaya Arellano, Anzio Arellano, Andi Marisol Arellano, Mila Davies, Xander Pierce, Riley Pierce, Olivia Herrera, Justin Ayden Gomez, Isabel Gomez, Ryan Martinez, and David Arellano and his brother George Arellano.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Evelyn Arellano, brothers; Robert Fisher and Norman Arellano and granddaughter Melissa Arellano.

Pallbearers: Adam Arellano, Gabriel Arellano, Joey Arellano, Adam E.J. Arellano, Matthew Arellano, Joey Arellano III. Honorary Pallbearers: Justin Gomez, Ryan Martinez, Anzio Arellano, and David Arellano.
