And missed beyond measure.

Cheryl Hiltsley, 71, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, entered into eternal peace on Friday, March 20th. She passed peacefully in her home in Silver City. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Bright Funeral Home. A private burial will be held by the family. She is survived by her husband, Jim Hiltsley of Silver City, her daughter Tracey Hiltsley and granddaughter Hannah Emarine of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, her nephew, Scott Condrey, his wife Debbie and daughter Zoie of Pagosa Springs, CO, and her sister-in-law, Barbara Condrey, of Omaha NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Bessie Condrey, and her brothers Gary and Fred Condrey.

Cheryl was born on July 18th, 1943 in Albuquerque, NM and graduated from Sandia High School. She then went on to start a career in banking, which she did on and off throughout her life. She married Jim, who was a NM State Policeman in 1976 and moved to various cities throughout NM all of which she made many friends and was a vital part of the community. She trained to become an EMT and thrived on helping others. Before her passing, Cheryl was a volunteer at Gila Regional Medical Center for 10 years where she enjoyed greeting and helping visitors and staff.

Cheryl enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking, traveling, walking on the beach, but most of all, spending time with family and friends. Her laugh was contagious and her smile would brighten any room. Her jovial and positive attitude was rare and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

As Cheryl has requested, a Celebration of Life in her honor will be held at the family home with the date to be announced.
