Luis BaezaLouie Baeza, 71, Deming resident passed away Sunday March 29, 2015 at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.

Visitation will start Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at Baca's Funeral Chapel with the prayer vigil to follow at 10 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be at 11 o'clock at St. Ann's Catholic Church that morning with Fr. Manuel Ibarra officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

He was born October 29, 1943 in Deming to Carmen Vizcarra and Jose Baeza. Louie was in general construction and served in the New Mexico National Guard. He was a very religious man and was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church. He was a hard worker, always kept busy and enjoyed being in the outdoors. He loved his children, grandchildren, and siblings plus his hometown.

Survivors include 3 sons, Johnnie Baeza of Pearland, Texas, Louie Baeza Jr. And wife Monica of San Antonio, Texas, Vicente Baeza of Arizona; 2 daughters, Norma Chacon and husband David of Las Cruces, Liz Martinez and husband Bobby of Hatch; 2 brothers, Danny and Joe Baeza both of Deming; 2 sisters, Mary Quarrel of Deming, Alice Lujan of Las Cruces; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Carmen Baeza and a brother, Manuel Baeza.

Pallbearers will be Joshua, Alex and Darrick Chacon, David, Eddie, Richard Baeza, Manny Baeza Jr. And Danny Baeza Jr.
