Nellie F. Madrid, 89, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Friday, April 3, 2015 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM. She was born August 30, 1925 in Silver City, NM to Macedonio Flores and Ramona Manriquez.

She is survived by one son, Arthur Madrid (Linda) of Hillsboro, OR; four daughters, Stella Pratt (Alan) of Nampa, Idaho; Margaret Madrid of Orange, CA; Isabel Madrid-Cedillo of Westminster, CA; Jenny Madrid of Silver City; one brother, Max Flores (Millie) of Silver City; numerous God-children, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rumaldo Madrid; three sons, Michael, Abran and Richard Madrid; five brothers, Sisto, Juan, Ramon, Martin and Jose Flores; one sister, Paula Romero.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 8 from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the prayer vigil and holy rosary to begin at 6pm with Dr. Gilbert Arizaga reciting. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, April 9 at 9am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Tony Basso officiating.

Inurnment will follow cremation at St. Vincent Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gilbert, Roger, Eddie and Paul Cedillo, Robert Gonzales Sr., and Robert Pratt.
