Elias S. Amador Sr., of North Hurley, NM passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Gila Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 26, 1927 in Rincon, NM to Adelina Soto and Alvino Amador. He retired from Kennecott after 36 years of service. He was a hard worker and a good provider and he valued his home and family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Natalia Amador of the family home; one daughter, Barbara Torres (Joe) of North Hurley; five sons, Elias Amador Jr. (Olga) of Santa Clara; Frankie Amador (Carolyn) of North Hurley; Jerry Amador of North Hurley; Daniel Amador (Viola) of Albuquerque; and David Amador (Annette) of Hurley; twenty-four grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren;
