Marcos C. Flores entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. He was born May 17, 1946 in Silver City, NM to Eduardo and Magdalena Castillo Flores. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Clara of the family home; three daughters, Cindy Gutierrez (Nathan) of Silver City; Dr. Mona Flores and fiancé Juan Cabrera of Silver City; Denise Ruelaz (Cruz) of Silver City; two sons, Marcos Flores Jr., (Victoria G.) of Bayard; Eduardo Flores (Jennifer) of Albuquerque; fifteen grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, April 24 from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the prayer vigil and holy rosary to begin at 6pm with Deacon Bill Holguin reciting. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, April 25 at 10am at St. Francis Newman Center with Father Tony Basso officiating. Concluding services, interment will follow at Memory Lane cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Angel and Javier Gutierrez, Daniel Holland, Travis Logan, Raul Diaz and Pete Dwyer. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Sierra, Joe Flores, Bruno DeMarco, Jim Fowler, Eddie Rodriguez, Aurelio Flores, Rudy Paez, Joe Bierner, Dr. Richard Rodriguez, Dr. William Fowler, Gilbert Gonzales, Dave Martin, Dale, Junior and Robert Russell.
