James Lee Lenhardt, 75, Deming resident passed away Monday April 27, 2015 at his home.

No local services will be held. Per his request he will be laid to rest in Amity, Oregon.

James was born February 14, 1940 in Salem, Oregon to Luella Pearl Beaman and Harold Eldon Lenhardt. A Deming resident for 20 years, coming from Amity, Oregon, James was a hard working man and was a proprietor of rental properties.

Survivors include his wife, Carol of the home; son, Barry Lee Lenhardt and wife, Shawn of Damascus, Oregon; daughter, Colette Chandler and husband Scott of Deming; brother, Gerald Eldon Lenhardt of Deming; sister, Cherylle Shilhanek of Salem, Oregon and 7 grandchildren, Hannah, Levi, Melissa, Naomi, Sophia, Sarah and Roy Scott.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Luella Lenhardt, brother, Michael and 2 grandchildren, Brandon and Ryan.
