Gene L. Huber, 60, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at his residence. He was born May 14, 1954 in Silver City, NM to Archie L. Huber and Nada I. Stailey.

He is survived by his mother, Nada I. Portillo of the family home; one son, Ky Gentry-Louis Huber of Austin, TX; one brother, Jay Huber (Cindy) of Albuquerque; one sister, Janeigh Huber of Silver City; two nephews, Tanner and Aaron Huber; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins; special cousin, Gigi Ranger-Ellis and long time dance partner/friend, Ranelle Gose. He was preceded in death by his father, one sister, Joan Huber ('93).

Visitation will be Thursday, May 7 from 9-10am at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints with the Funeral Service to begin at 10am with Bishop Jeremy Lewis officiating. Concluding service interment will follow at Cliff-Gila Mesa Cemetery.   Pallbearers will be Jay Huber, David Roberts, Don Stailey, Tim Matthews, Jay Goats, Neil McDonald, Billy Billings and   Jerry Billings. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gene Stailey, Bill Stailey, Gigi Ranger-Ellis and Ranelle Gose.
