Manuel T. Guadiana, 85, a resident of Bayard, NM entered eternal rest Monday, May 25, 2015 at Fort Bayard Medical Center. He was born November 8, 1929 in Santa Rita, NM to Estevan Guadiana and Josefa Torres.

Mr. Guadiana proudly served his country when he enlisted with the U.S. Marine Corp for a year and later re-enlisted with the U. S. Army and served for three more years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Diaz Guadiana of Bayard; four sons, Juan Guadiana of Las Cruces; Andy Guadiana and fiancé Holly Kamp of Oklahoma City, OK; Gilbert Guadiana (Liz) of Bayard; Ruben Guadiana of Silver City; one daughter, Patsy Marrufo (Tony) of Albuquerque; twelve grandchildren, Mary Helen, Amanda, Ruben, Analicia, Juan Diego, Estevan, Manuel, Sonia, Celeste, Javier, Elias and Elianah; five great-grandchildren, William, Amelia, Anabelle, Andrea and Alyssa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Daniel Guadiana.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 28 from 6-7pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the prayer vigil and holy rosary to begin at 7pm with Deacon David Castañon reciting. The funeral liturgy will be Friday, May 29 at 11:30am at Our Lady of Fatima Church with Father Paulus Kao officiating. Concluding service interment with full military honors will take place at Fort Bayard National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Danny Ray Guadiana, Julian Dominguez, Estevan Marrufo, Juan Diego Guadiana, John Saenz Jr., Michael Huerta, Ruben M. Guadiana and Manuel J. Guadiana. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Montenegro, James Polanco, Sammy Corral, Albert Cardoza, Mario Kirker, David Diaz, Lorenzo Martinez, John Saenz Sr., David Jaramillo, Danny Huerta, Javier Marrufo, Fortunato Torres and Manuel I. Guadiana.
