Benito Aguilera Jr., 34, a resident of Lordsburg, NM entered eternal rest Friday, May 29, 2015 at Mt. View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM.

He was born January 27, 1981 in Silver City, NM. He is survived by his mother, Victoria "Vicky" Gonzales and fiancé Jose "Papa Rod" B. Rodriguez of Lordsburg; his fiancé, Joanna Contreras of Las Cruces; one son, Benito Aguilera III of Las Cruces; two daughters, Angelina Larea Contreras of Las Cruces; Lorenza Romero of Deming; three sisters, Tania Aguilera and fiancé Alfredo Fernandez of Phoenix, AZ; Sonia Gonzales and companion Jesus Chavez of Lordsburg; Maria Gonzales (Daniel Acosta) of Lordsburg; maternal grandmother, Angelina Gonzales of Lordsburg; one nephew, Justin Gonzales of Phoenix, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Albina Aguilera; maternal grandfather, Alfredo Gonzales; his uncle, Thomas "Toe" Gonzales; his cousin, Zenaida Gonzales.

Visitation will be Friday, June 5 from 9-10am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the holy rosary to begin at 10am with Esther Valenzuela reciting. The funeral liturgy will follow at 10am with Father John Weber officiating.

Pallbearers will be Justin Gonzales, Jesus Chavez, Daniel Acosta, Mario and Jimmy Gonzales, Lupito and Manuel Lopez and Michael Hood. Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Aguilar and Jose B. Rodriguez. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
